RFS RADIO FREQUENCY SYSTEMS HLS SERIES

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

HORIZONTAL LOG PERIODIC DIPOLE ARRAYS - HLS SERIES

photo RFS Radio Frequency Systems HLS Series The HLS Series Log Periodics are directional, horizontally polarized antennas designed for short and medium range communications.

Characterised by a broad azimuth aperture (approximately 120°) the HLS provides high performance sector coverage.

The HLS antenna comprises a periodic alignment of dipole elements configured from a balanced feed line and catenary combination.

Operation at 2 - 4 MHz is achieved by the development of a V-type antennas configuration within the array.
